The Education Department is currently seeking a Full-time Education Specialist to provide top notch administrative and project management support to the Director of Intake/Education, Educators and Horizon field staff.  The Education Specialist is responsible for creating spreadsheets and charts to track and analyze in-service and competency data, create documents to be used within the department, schedule education programs and handle program set-up (i.e. A/V equipment, conference rooms) manage departmental files and last but not least take the lead on implementation of our agency's NEW online learning system.

We need someone with drive and exceptional communication skills, able to represent the department professionally and interact with all levels of our organization. Must possess a strong work ethic, strong technical computer knowledge and ability to be a multi-task master! 

Requires a one year of vocation school; relevant Associate degree preferred.  Plus 2-3 years of administrative experience (health care related preferred). Must demonstrate a strong working knowledge computer proficiency using Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher.  It is particularly important that the Education Specialist be an expert Excel user, able to create complex spreadsheets with charts/graphs.
