Want to play an integral part in ensuring our volunteer program remains vibrant and continues to grow and support our mission and vision?  If so, we have an immediate opening for a part-time Volunteer Coordinator. 

 

We seek a dynamic professional with the ability to support and assist our Volunteer Manager in creatively recruiting and retaining a diverse volunteer team. This individual will coordinate schedules for our volunteers in a variety of roles, including our Grief Resource Center, Hospice program, and Meals on Wheels.  In addition the Volunteer Coordinator cares about people and enjoys evolving relationships, is highly organized and adaptable and can communicate effectively and appropriately with various audiences. This multi-tasking master will also be integral in the vetting of incoming volunteers, assisting in the volunteer orientation process, and managing the day-to-day clerical functions of the Volunteer Department.  If you are an energetic self-starter, this position is for you!

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 1-2 years volunteer coordination and/or PR/office experience preferred
  • Strong familiarity with MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Current/Valid WI Driver’s License; plus reliable/insured vehicle
  • Part time first shift
