RN - Home Care Educator and Visit Nurse

This unique RN position will begin their tenure with Horizon as an Admit Visit Nurse for homecare patients to gain valuable “in the field” experience. Over the course of time, this experience will be translated into the opportunity for this individual to be part of our Education Department; using those “in the field” skills/experience to better educate our new home care para-professionals and professionals as part of our comprehensive orientation program. The role will be full-time (typically 8:00am-4:30pm, with occasional variances). You are primarily based at our Park Place corporate headquarters, however, you will conduct admits and visits to home care patients throughout our service area.
Requires a BSN, valid WI RN license, and 2-3 years of home care experience. Prior Education experience is not required, but a long-term desire to build a career in education is strongly preferred. Must be computer proficient and possess strong public speaking skills.
Because this position travels throughout Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Waukesha, and Washington Counties, you must have a valid WI driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
